Originally from Charleston, SC, I came home to Charleston and the Presbyterian Church after being gone for 10 years. My great love is anthropology and learning about new cultures! Luckily I have been able to share the joy of life in Christ with others in other countries via mission. I have been able to scratch one thing off my bucket list due to St. Andrew’s and that was to visit the Amazon jungle in Brazil! That has been my lifelong dream ever since college.
One of the greatest lessons I have learned is: In times of trouble you find out who your family and friends really are.
Four things I cannot live without are: Vivaldi, books, Sci-fi, coffee and the beach! (Wait…that is five)
Quote that represents me: John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Life-changing book I’d recommend: People of the Lie by M. Scott Peck. I have read it about 8 times!
If I could, I would: live right on the ocean and spend my days writing and traveling the world.
The thing I enjoy most about St. Andrew’s is: the people, relationships and the bonds I have made there.
